Insurance Council of BC Online Portal

Please note that our online licencing portal will be unavailable on Thursday, May 30, 2024 between 8:30PM and 9:00PM for important systems maintenance. We thank you for your patience.

Our online portal provides access to various Insurance Council of BC services. Currently, users can login to do the following:

• Update contact information
• Register to write the LLQP exam
• Apply for a licence
• Pay fees owing for existing licensees
• Complete Annual Licence Renewal
• Register for Council Rules Course and other CE courses

Accessing services through the Online Portal

To access our services online, you will need to have a portal account. You will then be able to log into the portal with your user name or email, and your password.

Who needs to create a Portal account?

If you are a licensee, former licensee, or have previously used the online portal you will already have a portal account and do not need to register for one. Having trouble accessing an existing account? See Online Portal Support below.

If you are a new applicant or an examinee and have not previously used our online system, you will need to create an account. Select Register for an Account in the sidebar on the right.
